Random Fact 1:
I am half Italian and half Chinese, but I understand more Chinese and its cultural heritage than my Italian counterpart, because I haven't spoken to my dad(Italian) since when I was a teen, and my parents technically are separated.

Random Fact 2:
My Chinese name is Mei, which actually is what the M stands for as my middle initial.

Random Fact 3:
My first job ever was a waitress in a restaurant in NYC, and its also the place I rejected a first marriage proposal, and then was called a "slut" the next day from the same guy, which then resulted me quitting the job almost instantly.

Random Fact 4:
My drivers license has the wrong birth month, instead of July, they put June. It is still true to this very day.

Random Fact 5:
Attempted to break into modeling, then was told my legs are actually "too short"! Haven't tried again ever since.

Random Fact 6:
I am more of a listener than a talker, because I actually talk down-to-earth slow, some of my friends call me "TOL - The Old Lady".

Random Fact 7:
I live in NYC but work in NJ, thus I commute for 1.5 hour to get to work, and vice versa. Its long I know, but I actually enjoy the ride because I am always against traffic. No more stuck in the subway with horny stares.

Random Fact 8:
The biggest mistake I had made was dating someone I really shouldn't, with this mid-aged executive in his 30's, and lasted only for a day. The amount of regretful guilt was so tremendous that I had thoughts of self-torturing, which I never committed doing... I do like guys who are not immatured.

	cephallus: 08/08/2007 8:50 AM this is one of those forehead-slapping moments where i say, "aha!" half italian/chinese makes sense now, but i was scratching my head trying to figure out your ethnicity. and the whole modeling thing is absolutely nuts. i had several friends try to break into professional modeling, and the one who made it was the one who nobody ever thought would make it. he told me they airbrushed everything...the even used makeup to 'paint' abs on him once.

So many people don't see the patterns until their 30's... although, of course, there are exceptions... you stand out to me.
